This is kinda like the last week I'll be attending New Creation.. >:( *emos*
Everyone gets sad and emotional when it is time to move from somewhere you're familiar and comfortable to somewhere you're not.

There is this fear of the unknown that makes the "moving on" difficult right.
Will I have a good life in Sydney..
Will I find a church thats as good as New Creation..
Will I have such great friends I have like in Singapore..
What if I can't find a proper place to stay..
What if I can't get proper meals everyday..
Will I be safe..
What if I get sucky lectuers!
What if my classmates are sucky too!!
Will I be able to do well or even pass!
Will I be able to wake up on time..
What if I can't sleep at night..

I guess life is like that in a way.. even if you're not going to be moving out to an unknown city all alone with just a duffel bag - The fear of the unknown and unfamiliar is so real.

Of course as a guy I would put on an adventurous, jack Bauer, gan-ho front and face whatever Sydney has for me.. but deep inside.... I seriously need Jesus.

It is his love for him that will drive me on - I thank God it is HIS LOVE for me that is going to be my strength.
If it is going to be my love for him, I would be in so much trouble... like deep fried kfc trouble.

So because of his grace and love - here in my life, I'm gonna have a great time in Sydney, I'm going to do really well in school, I'm gonna have lotsa great friends, I'm gonna grow and mature in many many ways and I'm coming back for Christmas with a Diploma!

Heres a post about my past months.
I finished shooting my film "TOLL" and its an awesome 15min short film.
BLT finished his film too "INCRIMINATION"
I finished my server in the Singapore Armed Forces in December in time to have an awesome Christmas.
I attended New Creation, Arrow Camp (Never Give up!) and it was the best camp ever!
I met a bunch of really awesome guys in Camp who changed my life. The Ngee Ann Poly Caregroup!
I've been feasting for the past few days during the Lunar New Year holidays and I'm starting to prep for my studies in Sydney next week.
I'll be over at Sydney for 10months doing my Foundation, Diploma in Screen.

Its been weeks since I've blog!

Just a short recap, I manage to find time to let down my hair(if any) this weekend - clubbing with my Willie and his friend. Just last week I fell seriously ill with fever and a bad cold thanks to too much vodka the weekend before. Hello!

my divine attention needed elsewhere for the past two weeks thus I could not update this little blog.

I had this small casting meeting and another production meeting for my USD 10, 000 15mins shortfilm.

Yes, my budget on my budget sheet is $10k - its reallie crazy.

I've submitted my shortfilm fund proposal to Singapore Film Commission, and if God-willing I will be granted $5k.

On the other hand, I've been damn busy with camp work.. and other stuff.

My mood has been pretty fine until last night.

A Labour Day is an annual holiday celebrated all over the world that resulted from efforts of the labour union movement, to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers.

Good day guys, I've just finish talking to afew other guys who might be joining our post-production team (Jensen, Pierce)
The script has been updated and I must say its pretty much good to go (for now). It will still be going thru detailed changes in the next few weeks. The production team is yet to finish their proposal kit by end of this week, so I'll look forward to that.

We really need to send it out asap to film commission.
The next 3-4 weeks - we will need to do casting, if you have a friend that could act please please.. introduce him to the production (:
I assure this production isnt gonna be a soappy senitmental petty i'm not stupid film =P
Its exciting, lotsa tension, bloog, suspense and all those stuff.

I've recieved an updated script from richard, everything seem to be going well.

I ran thru the script and consulted a friend whos name is David Liu too who is doing a degree in film in aussie. We talk about almost every aspect of my film and then we ran thru the script.. I took down his points and then ran thru the script together with his points alone at about 8PM..

At this point I realised how far me and richard came.. our very first idea was so much different from where we are now - I'm really excited as I realised how the story improved from day 1. Made some minor changes to the script and afew suggestions and then return it the Richard to update it.

On the other hand, I'm abit troubled as I feel the absence of my producer, Tamara. She's really busy but I understand.. maybe its because I' seem to be the only insane kid in my block thinking about film all day while my friends r happily playing dota and other computer games and sports.

For everyone else, ALL of you need to send me a short bio. of yourself - this is extremely important. Please also include a photo too.Let me stress this point again - IMPORTANT and URGENT. without this we are dead. no sponsors = no money = no film = lets go find another hobby.

I cant wait to see the updated version of the script and then we can finsh our proposal kit - Next big mountain. - Casting!

Production! I'm gonna make a shortfilm in the months to come. Prob a 10-15min thriller + action with no singlish or draggy petty singaporean emo arty.

If anyone ask me which psychological model I would prefer use in a session I would say..
"FREUD."

And what filmmaking model I would use to make a film.. I would say
"THE BLT MODEL!"

Anyway, its a whole new week with so many things lined up for me.
My long weekend was pretty fine, I spent good friday and saturday in Bintan for some company shoot. And I manage to catch "Freedom Writers" with Yuan Long and Mark which was good!

The rat race of trying to finish up some random videos for my officers has finally came an end.. and i've got a week off! whaha.

I immediately went to gym with charles and now 2 days later the ache on my chest and arms still dons me.. ouch

I'm gonna plan to get some good rest, schedule afew casual swims, play some games and get ready for the weekend, gonna go overseas for some confidental shoot - not p0rn tho. :X

Here is a story about a boy and a girl..

Jason met this girl at their church camp for the first time. Jason was attracted to this girl, she was pleasent, fun-loving and sweet. The girl, sarah on the other hand was also attracted to Jason. Both of them also share the same interest in fishing!
They carry on meeting after the church camp.. they went fishing together many times.. dated and even kissed. - Everything was going as it was a fairy-tale.

But one day after school, Sarah decided to go see Jason but Jason wasnt at home.
She found Jason fishing with afew other girls socialising and having a good time.
Sarah became angry and pissed!
She went up to Jason and told him thats the end!
Jason was going to explain but Sarah walked off..
Jason was quite shocked and stunned.. and started to feel sad (or emo)
Sarah never wanted to see Jason again.. Jason just =\ away.

When I asked Jason what happened.. he said he was just casually fishing and making new friends. He did not lie or did anything wrong. He signed and drop his head and told me "well, its alrite.. i mean maybe shes just too petty."

I told Jason "my dear friend... relax ok? this sort of this happens. leave her be, she'll mature as she grows."

The weekend passed quite fast I still could remember every act and scene of the phantom of the opera which i watched on thursday.

I was on regular dispatch duty for almost every working day - making trips down to simlim to get some stuff for the army - which was quite convenient considering I've done a full research on the different lcd monitors i might consider buying.. own a new 400gb harddisk and met up countless times with Wakka for tea. (Little india, no he isnt indian)I manage to pick up my mouse and start playing dota, but I got a feeling I won't go far as it seem that I would always draw firstblood.. (9 out of 10 times, I'm the victim)

I cannot stop thinking about how brilliant Phantom was.. Its not just some typical lovely lovely musical but a piece of art.. filled with awesome swordfights, tanks fighterjets and everything cool.. anything but singaporeanly artys!

Go watch it, listen to it and be a fan of it.. It is the longest running musical in history anyway.

I've been busy trying to finish up all my video productions, this week the army has already have a stack of request for me to do videos/media related tasks for them..
I am also scheduled for several meetings this week, driving, production meeting(yes making a shortfilm again) and an overseas video project for the weekend..

Oh yes I bought this filmmaking book that cost me 70bucks from borders, and seetoh pls pm me. (David frm teenzeal here)

Hi, its been a long time since i posted due to several projects I've got to finish up in camp.Let me just spill out whats on my mind right now..-Had a great halloween saturday with my goot friend bern.-COUNTDOWN, the movie we have been shooting and busy with for the past 4months has been at least completed and ready for screening/viewing. :D-BLINDED, the movie that I was acting in - was sent into CANON DV-FEST 06, and it manage to get into the finals... now I can say "Finialist of Project Pen Pilot and Canon DV Fest" hahaha.. but all thanks to BLT and his minions...-I was going to shoot a BATMAN video last week but thanks to soccer, Bruce Wayne injured his ankle and now hes on crutches.. - This is the 2nd time my production got halted, the first one I was stopped by cops.-I did several weddings and I am looking forward to another event shoot somewhere mid-nov. where I'm commisioned to shoot the Prime Minister.. well not with a gun =Some openning event at some club.Alrite life seems to be moving along... but to be honest.. some times I feel =\ and =[ and =(...Been quite depressed and stressed lately.. i hope christmas(being round da corner) would make things better..CheersDAVID!

Life has not been really good to me lately, esp when it has to do with the Army - As cool as having the responsiblity of covering an exercise that will be held down under(Video),it also comes with the heavy price of being surrounded by people who cannot comprehend the amount of work/braincells and stuff, and regard me as some totally normal soldier who has guard duties and stuff.I am special, I knew that from day 1; I think its time for some people to understand that I am untouchable.. at least in the army.Getting back to production, I am still on my quest to create 2 top notch trailers that will showcase my production capabilities... to put it in simple term - something that would kick ass.Heres a 2liner synopsis:1. A motivational documentary about Heros, our perspectives, their perspectives and the many common similarities we share.2. A sentimental drama that centres around a boy who has personal issues conflicting with his moral identity - And how people around him support him and be there in his time of need.The ideal senerio which depicts how being there for a friend can really make a difference - even if the solution involves a miracle.

Today my partner in camp has been taken away from me. Whenever I see a recruit face, it will remind me of him - He carries this innocence that never fails remind me of how I was like when I first enlisted. He was always there for me when I was going thin. He was the kind of fellow that was never late, always in my office before I reach camp... always ever ready to accompany me when I go for breaks and random partrols dispite his knee injuries.This post is for you Nick, for brightening up my days when you was with me, beside me; laughing, hiding from 2ic, gaying, stoning, dozing and other random silly stuff.:DNew video added!!Emo stuff. I just watched XMEN3 this monday on its gala premier..
Firstly the food was great(muhah) too bad non of you can take this with you. - Which reminds me that I might need to cater food for my bday party >_<

Great show, the director was bold and daring. The plot as everyone knows is about the cure, but I seriously like how the plot mixes with each and every character.. This superhero movie is different. And I like things that are different.. I'm gonna save the spoilers, oh yes..
I am gonna be CYCLOPS this weekend in orchard... afew places at different time..

I have been quite busy for the past few weeks combine with the little motivation to blog.. haha its been almost a month or more?
Life have been good to me, but I'm not exactly really good towards life..
I got posted out of 42 SAR into ATI (Armour Training institute) in lame term; its a place where the trainees become officers and sergents after they graduate.
Bah. as an ns boy, there is nothing to worry about besides waking up early and dragging myself to camp.. Oh yes, and spending.. :)
My wish list started to grew in terms of budget wise.. Altho I only get $350 per month, it seems that this $350 is acutally like $3500.. sadly.. in reality my hp bill will drill $100 off it already *arrg*
Let me just go on listing my wishlist as if xmas is around da corner.. (thats another wish *grin*)

-A partner... no doubt... been resisting emotional thoughts but i guess the problem with me is that I'm human
-PSP.. comparing to ipod video.. i think PSP would be much more enjoyable with the bigger screen
-Marine fish tank stuff.. i bet none of u keep marine fishes so not gonna go on about the skimmers, reactors and equipments.. :P

It's been exactly 2 months since I enlisted into the SAF, and it has been fun!
It's like a childhood dream come true, training in squads, my buddy and my own rifle. Learning to maneuver thru difficult terrain, splitting up and tactically engage and neutralise our targets, and did I mention I was in an Armour unit?
Which means soon I will have my very own Armoured vehicle. Hope I can take it down to orchard one day.

To be honest, I'm not going to recount what happen within the pass 2 months.

Right now I'm sick, sad and yes.. single.
I must commend the following people for making me feel this way.

Recent event has really made me really down... -depressed.

On a lighter note, the past week was a REALLY happening week!!! Been helping up at SCIENCE CENTER alot, costume-staring (another word to replace cosplay.. cos cosplay sounds "playful").. I was a STORM-TROOPER, I was also a HOGWART STUDENT, and then AGENT SMITH at Cine..
The Art of Star Wars was the center of where most of my time went too, alot of hours of preparation and walking about went into it... I even bump into the President, Mr.Nathan ;)

IM GOING ARMY IN.... 18 DAYS!!!!!

Even after all the self-counselling and advices i get from my friends, sometimes when i think hard about.. im alittle scared.

Moving along, this week has been a great week for me, had a chance to meet up with an awesome bunch of kids from ACS(I). They are kinda like a renergade film team, from different classes. I was asked to be there to just help out here and there, and I kinda got a role in the film too - not too bad, a squad leader.
But all in all the 2 days of filming was really exhuasting, but fun :)

Halloween!!! I was stucked at MOX tryin to stick the Phantom of the Opera's mask on my face... but somehow it did not work, thanks to WEI SIANG.. but even he could make it stick *lol*
So I wore a leather jacket, put on my visor and went as Cyclops..
It was REALLY COOL.
The whisper of the word "cyclops" was there everywhere I walk, not forgetting my blast.. I lit up here and there entertaining people.. and at the cool part of the music of the club.. haha

Met up with afew people that stirred my emotion... people months ago.. arrg. Mr.G and Mr.J
Anyways.. moving on..

my dear friend GERERD just entered army 4days ago, ever since then i've been thinking of going in too.. arrrgh.
Been to Jeffery's place a week ago, kinda had one of those old school days fun.. went out for LAN, supper.. orchard and all.

Professional Cosplay, Movie Mania
The past week was quite alrite, manage to grab some free tickets to watch the screening of the Cave - I would rather call it "THE PIT" Bad movie.
They had serveral events as usual, I dont get along with everyone but everyone still does work as a team.. to a point.
Alright, we manage to gather afew guys and stormed WCG with our costumes, namely CounterTerrorist and Terrorist from CounterStrike, and KELLY, the CHIOBUY came with princess leia to take everyone breath away.
Saving up the details, I manage to win a Samsung handphone with my Terrorist outfit! wooohoo! It was quite fun posing around with my c4 and all. The Princess also manage to won a digi cam too!!!

Currently now I'm waiting for my package from US, its been taking awhile man..

Just a quick update, the past few weeks I have been spending alot of time @ MOVIE MANIA office, and quite abit of time with RENO TAN. Nice gentlemen with a jap wife and 2 cute kids.

Every weekend was eventful thanks to MOVIEMANIA events, been helping them up anyway I could.. even thou there were some unpleasentness.
My cyclops visor came in, and it was sweet..

I was having a overnight house warming session, some friend who had a flat around adams road.. his flat is on the top floor and it was a wide clear view of the west of Singapore.I could see bukit timah hill.. singtel tower.. my school area.. I remember last time in primary school we walked all the way from school to bukit timah hill.. in seconday school too.. even from home. Camps, hiking trips - LOADS OF FOND MEMORIES

I was awoken by my mum's irritating nagging this morning... dragged myself to the car and we headed to church.
Had a meeting with TheFanForce guys about cosfest and all.. followed by the playing of wooden toy sword.. kinda got smacked on my left face - not cool, totally uncool.. my specs flew off my face too.
Right after that we headed off to get my long awaited costume... or at least part of it.. SWAT Tactical Vest =D

We strike again, this time we my fellowship of Jedi were called on by the NLB to escort a lady NASA Astronault.. and make everyone smile. We sure did a great job in that, but some kids were scared away by the tie-fight pilot - mean looking >=D
Thats my Sith costume, still in the mist of improving it as much as possible.. the Red saber in these pictures were more pinkish as the batterys were half-charged >_<

Its 3am now and I'm still kinda working and finishing up some of my Sith costume.. hmm. Acutally I'm slacking.. er no I'm waiting for the paint to dry..
I decided to upgrade my first saber, adding buttons and epoxyin the parts together so they wont drop onto my feet later on.

The Jedi Council gathered today at pacf.coffee to discuss about cosfest (JULY10) and other stuffs. We kinda got 2 weeks to come out with a lightsaber fight scene, a sith lord fighting two jedis :P and I'm one of da jedi.

Kinda had a crazy night yesterday.. had 2 of my friends over to help me make my Jedi Robes :P and my neighbour poped by to have a lightsaber duel.. or swordfight.. or acutally.. playing of bamboo sticks.
Somehow I got drunked and all and er.. landed up on my bed watching southpark till.. bleah..
I cant remember anything =Okay, i woke up this morning and rushed down to Jurong Point wif my little bro and my neighbour (LIEN, a nice guy) we kinda got ourself some cool "swords" that were made with rubber with a i think carbonfiber core.

Sunday evening I manage to finally meet up with my dad after a long time. He kinda brought me and my brothers to some fishfarm to buy some stuff.. after that, he was reallllly nice enuff to drive me to my coral-farm which was like 20mins away.. halfway there i kinda remembered that they just closed 15mins ago but he was cool.. he didnt really got mad or anything - infact he carry on driving.. saving the details, we manage to talk to the auntie running the place and she got me what i wanted :P

Monday I met up with SHUANN, some kiddo.. we went gyming, swimming and southpark
Tuesday was a great day.. really. I manage to meet KEITH. super cool dude, thu hes shorter than me :D
Oh ya, I also manage to move my fishtank from my living room to my room :)

Went out today for lightsaber choreography session, met up with KIM and her friend, COOL JEDI GIRLS . rgs. COOOOOOLLL. Spent the whole day at the Jedi Arena doing moves with MIKE - a fellow Jedi Mate..
kinda hit him afew time and somehow one of my hit repaired his Jedi Communicator :P

The past week was quite a productive one, spent most of my time with WAYNE AKA XENO, JEDI YOUNGLING, nice guy. Made afew more new Jedi Knights - great guys! and gals.
We were working on a storyline for our singapore's starwars fanfim project, along with the lightsaber chorography which will b needed alot for the story line - loads of fightings :D
Me and wayne also manage to make a new lightsaber hilt (handle) pretty nasty lookin.

This week was alrite.. Jedi Temple (churc).. made a new friend called CLEMENT who is an aspiring Jedi from THE CHINESE HIGH SCHOOL CLAN, plays cs-cz and does strreeet magic. I also met up with an old friend of mine.. eugene, another aspiring Jedi Youngling.. he has shown interest in making sabers and robes.. much to learn he has.. omg.. i dont even have my own robe :O

It was only afew days ago when I feasted with seafood over my mum's bday dinner at turf city, the very next day I had the best fishhead dish in Singapore almost all to myself.

Today my lil bro join us and we went to some really nice place for pasta, forgot the name but it was 5star type of food... ended my day wenting to chill out with my friends with a ribena-vodka and now im stuck playing CStrike matches with DARREL, nice guy too.. .. GTG match time!!!

Havent been blogging for awhile, heres alittle update..
Valentines day was quite tiring but of cos cool, started the day with a meeting - i wore a biz.suit. then i had lunch with ROY (nice guy) and we chilled out. Next I metup with JAYDEN and soon his gang. We traveled far and long and ended up at Suntec, we took a pitstop and watched racing stripes - a family show... We then took a detour, me and jayden met up with some other friends at Cine, Kbox.. The day ended with a stringray *yum*

woohoo, today I only spend $10.70!!!! Well I kinda need to start budgeting.. Been taking alot of taxis, and eating too much expensive food.. worst of all, my ang bao money is running dry soon!

yea, theres also inter-personal, international, inter-regional, inter-social, inter-culture conflicts etc. thats what my class is about this month.. and my examination is to write a journal of my conflicts and study them.. o.O lol

Just talk to my dear friend Shawn which I mean during my ymca days! Had a good chat online while he was smoking and drink his matte(whats that?) Well, I kinda had alittle relfection about my life and to start things of on the positive note, whao.. i duno i just feel good. Its 4.15am and whao.. I think I'll boost my day with coffee and tea. This week was quite a bad week, I am suppose to attend to alot of stuffs but I fail to do so, kinda slacked and had a lack of zeal and commitment. Thats bad. I kinda got impacted by ANDREW. yea this guy has cool spelled on his forehead. The way he moves and all - c o o l . ok He kinda scolded me when I missed church..

was nagged up by my mum this morning at 8am. somehow i felt like a responsible young man!! i quickly changed and went over the MR.LOH's house.. yah my neighbour.. e 1 wif da chio gal frm mgs.. and acsi headprefect of 2005.
Spent my morning in a warehouse near expo packing stuff for the tsunumi victims in india. see.. im nice.
Then I went to MR.LOH's office, kinda help up some exell stuff and now im kinda rushing down to Cine.. suppose to meet ryker to catch meet the fuckers. :D muahah
I know its the 1st day of school for many of you guys, but 1st month in school is fun! Rock da school down.. keep in rockin.. cheers!

the last 2-3 days was really busy, busy partying.. had bbq, youth gatherings - I just had steamboat with another bunch of friends, the "tonga" gang.

Thinking back through the year.. this year really had been a really tough for me, yea if not for my funny-bone... i would be in constant depression!
Kinda made quite a handfull of "enemies" (or hostile friends) this year.. Who likes having such friends, but I guess it was inevitable..
Of cos, this year would not be that great if I had not met and made friends with some of you guys...
But its quite sad, theres no one i can really feel comfortable enuff to sit down on new year's eve and talk about my year.. I'm like onions.. i have layers :D
I tot i found one, i meant.. i tot i felt he was the one.. but i guess he wasnt.. he was just some spolit asshole.
True friends... I never found one this year.... maybe i just need to think hard.

woke up realising there was someone on my bed!! lol yea.. tai boon stayed over. Lets make this short, rushed to church, rushed for lunch, rushed to queue up, had a xmas service at indoor stadium, rush home on a taxi(i fell asleep in da cab.. and the uncle got to wake me up afew times. >_<) rushed right into a party at home, now now gonna rush to Lien's house to get something!! Aww I'm a RUSSIAN. hah :D

wooho, didnt have time to blog yest.I started my day at 7am, and woke up at 9 :P I went down to the local fish shop and picked up some stuff and headed to sentosa, the riverboat. Let me save the details, the party on the riverboat was disappointing, disorganised, disorintated, etc. Hope the organisers will learn from this event.. but xmas is acutally about friends, so my night wasnt ruin acutally. Wanna give a shoutout to the cool people at the riverboat, Daryl darling, Jamie, Ian, Paul, Ben, and the whole gang.. keep on rockin.
I left at 10.30 and hijacked a taxi which took me to orchard, by grace i got there fast. 10.30, its the time where the countdown party started.. i was greeted on the scene by CityHarvest Security Team and the Ahmoh Pastor, i overheard him talkin on the phone(100% Singlish) hah. Ok, cut the story short, i met up with Tai Boon, countdown... got caught in a human traffic jam... watched 'xmas with the kranks'... played lan.. got home at 4am.. slept at 5am. yea!
Now I'm figuring what to do later.. its xmassssssssssssss.

It's 7.25am in da morning now, my bio-clock woke up me at 7am *yawn* Ok, let me blog for yesterday!
I went to sentosa in the afternoon to the riverboat, my pal Daryl's dad owns da riverboat :D quite nice place. I also had a chance to met up with Paul, Ben and Jamie.. and help decorated the place for their xmas party today! Once we were finished we stoned around figuring out who could go orchard or not.. i think it's so @!%# Paul and Ian couldnt make it to orchard.. cos of thier PARENTS. -_- WTF. i'm going to save the details larh. joykillerfdfeiovkse.
Anyways, i manage to convince Daryl to go with Mok, this new girl i made friend wif :) to Orchard! For what? For the concert show put up by New Creation Church. It was great. Better than yesterday. Really funny performence, rap and 'act-cool' songs. But we really 0wnx orchard totally dude! haha, morning expressed just gave a shoutout to NCC members, and all the people who made the concert successfull. Back to yesterday, after the concert, i slip into my coat and somehow i realise i look really really smart :D :D ok gonna go to sentosa later soon... cya

I think my biological clock is set for 8.30am. woohoo! kinda like to wake up early to catch the morning express, class 95fm... very entertaining, with full of nonsense and good jokes - luffer ish da best medicine isnt it?
My mum was free to pick me up for lunch so, i kinda slack the morning away playing warcraft3.. for lunch i had SHOPPING. crazy we went to buy presents from G2000 and Bodyshop @ suntec, I'm gonna save the details >_<
I went to the airport at around 4+ to picked up my little brother(he went to thailand) and i took off in a taxi straight to orchard for "Celebrate Christmas in Singapore" concert, it was new creation church night, and it was really great.. alittle draggy in the middle.. too many long draggy songs i guess. da rest was good. yea. kinda met up with ranford, his friends.. eugene baby, fuji, SONG!! and a girl(4got ur name >_<)
The event ended at 11, and my lovely mum came to picked me up for supper.. and then home..
what a long day, wouldnt u be tired if u were me? sleeping time :)
